[ENG/PT] 🇺🇸 The past few days have been a lot, so how about we focus on something that won’t disappoint? The @beautyofjoseon_official Glow Serum is a favorite on IG for a reason! Its mix of propolis extract and niacinamide is anti-inflammatory, hydrating, and super soothing.

When I was in Marfa (far west TX) a few months ago, I was NOT ready for the heat and low humidity. It felt like no amount of water I drank was enough! You would never tell that from my skin though—using this serum to seal in layers of a hydrating toner was key to keeping my skin feeling great even in pretty harsh conditions.

🇧🇷 Esses últimos dias foram bem intensos aqui nos EUA, então que tal a gente focar em algo que não decepciona? O Glow Serum da Beauty of Joseon é um queridinho do IG e faz por merecer! A combinação de própolis e niacinamida é hidratante e anti-inflamatória.

Quando estive em Marfa (na parte mais oeste do Texas, deserto MESMO) eu não estava preparada pro calor e baixa umidade. Por mais água que eu tomasse, a sede não passava! Pelo menos fiquei sedenta mas com a pele ótima, usando esse serum pra selar camadas de um tônico hidratante.

🇺🇸 Shower oils are non-negotiable for me 🙅🏼‍♀️ and these are my two favorites. Both the @biodermausa Atoderm Oil & @loccitaneusa Almond Oil are so lush and moisturizing, and they smell heavenly. What are your favorites?

[ENG/PT]🇺🇸 Just in time for 100° weather, #coloresciencegiftedme their Total Protection Brush-On Shield Glow SPF 50. For my fellow oily-skinned SPF nerds, this is an excellent option for reapplying sunscreen over makeup or on bare skin. It minimizes the appearance of oil while still giving the skin a healty glow!

The packaging is also incredibly practical, so I can see myself taking this to the office when going back there is finally a thing.

The only downside to this form of SPF, in my opinion, is that it’s hard to tell how much you’re applying and whether you've applied it evenly on the skin. Based on @labmuffinbeautyscience sunscreen advice, we’d probably have to apply WAY more than a normal “swish around the face” to get the full SPF 50 rating.

Even if I’m not getting the full 50, though, this is still one of the most elegant, portable, and convenient forms of sunscreen re-application I’ve tried. I wouldn’t use it on the beach or on days when I know I’ll get a ton of sun exposure, but for the day-to-day? It’s a 10/10 for me.

🇧🇷 Agora que o verão está chegando por aqui, fiquei muito feliz de receber o filtro solar em pó Total Protection da @colorescience. Se você, como eu, tem pele oleosa e não quer parecer um frango a milanesa no final do dia, esse pó é ótimo! Ele minimiza a aparência do oleo na pele mas ainda deixa um glow saudável.

Adorei o efeito dele tanto na pele limpa e quanto sobre a maquiagem. A embalagem é super prática, então ele já ganhou um espaço na minha bolsa e vai pra todo lugar!

O único contra é que é difícil dosar o quanto a gente aplicou, se aplicou de maneira uniforme, etc. De acordo com a @labmuffinbeautyscience, cientista de cosméticos, pra chegar ao FPS 50 seria necessário aplicar muito mais pó do que aquela passadinha básica. Ou seja, quem reaplicar com esse método vai trocar um pouco de proteção por praticidade.

Mesmo não proporcionando FPS 50, esse pó é a maneira mais elegante e conveniente que eu já testei para a reaplicação do filtro solar. Não usaria ele na praia ou em dias em que vou me expor muito ao sol, mas para o dia-a-dia ele é perfeito.
